Choose the 1.5T for paved-road buyers who want lower fuel use and price; choose the 2.0T when customers need four-wheel drive, towing or confident overtaking with a full load. The rest of the car is largely the same.

Who should buy the 1.5T?
- City dealers selling to private buyers who rarely leave tarmac
- Rental and ride fleets focused on fuel cost
- Markets where engine size drives import duty or annual tax
Who should buy the 2.0T?
- Buyers on gravel, sand, snow or mountain roads
- Tour, safari and field-service operators
- Customers who tow trailers or boats (up to 1,600 kg braked)
- Anyone ordering seven seats — the PLUS is 2.0T only
Does the gearbox matter?
Both are automatics for the driver. The 7-speed wet dual-clutch is used on most trims. The 8-speed torque-converter automatic, used on the 2.0T Conquer and all PLUS trims, is often preferred for sustained heavy loads and very hot climates.
Which model years offer which engine?
The 2026 and 2025 model years offer both. Every 2024 Jetour T2 is 2.0T 4WD, and the 2023 Jetour T2 we source is 1.5T FWD.
