The right Jetour T2 trim depends on three choices: engine (1.5T or 2.0T), gearbox (7-speed DCT or 8-speed automatic) and body (standard or PLUS with up to seven seats). Everything else — screens, cameras, lights — is shared across most trims.
What do all Jetour T2 trims have in common?
- 2,800 mm wheelbase and 2,006 mm width (standard body)
- 220 mm minimum ground clearance and 700 mm wading depth
- 15.6-inch centre screen and 10.25-inch digital cluster
- 360-degree camera, LED headlights and a 70-litre fuel tank
- Gasoline engines rated for 92 RON fuel or higher
Which trims use the 1.5T engine?
The Explore and Explore+ trims (and the 2023 Discover PRO) use the 135 kW 1.5T with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox and front-wheel drive. They suit city retail, rental and budget fleets where four-wheel drive is not needed.
Which trims use the 2.0T engine and four-wheel drive?
Discover, Traverse, Conquer, Yueye and Expedition use the 187 kW 2.0T with on-demand four-wheel drive and a rear differential lock. Discover and Traverse use the 7-speed DCT; Conquer uses the 8-speed automatic. The Junma editions of 2026 are DCT versions of Discover, Traverse and Explore+.
| Trim | Engine | Gearbox | Drive |
|---|---|---|---|
| Explore / Explore+ | 1.5T | 7-speed DCT | FWD |
| XWD Discover | 2.0T | 7-speed DCT | 4WD |
| XWD Traverse | 2.0T | 7-speed DCT | 4WD |
| XWD Conquer | 2.0T | 8-speed automatic | 4WD |
| XWD Yueye / Expedition | 2.0T | 7-speed DCT | 4WD |
| PLUS Conquer / Conquer+ | 2.0T | 8-speed automatic | 4WD |
When should I choose the T2 PLUS?
Choose the 2026 T2 PLUS when your buyers need seven seats or a more premium cabin. It is 5,034 mm long, uses the 2.0T with 8-speed automatic on every trim, and adds 16 speakers and heated second-row seats. See T2 PLUS vs standard T2.
Which trim fits which market?
- GCC (Saudi Arabia, UAE): 2.0T Conquer or PLUS with the 8-speed automatic for heat and highway use.
- Russia and Kazakhstan: 2.0T XWD trims with snow mode; heated seats on upper trims.
- Africa: 1.5T for cities, 2.0T XWD for upcountry and fleet work.
- South America: PLUS seven-seater for families; 2.0T XWD for rural roads.
