Most Jetour T2s bound for the UAE are quoted either FOB China or CIF Jebel Ali. FOB suits buyers with their own forwarder; CIF gives one price to the port. This guide explains both, plus the re-export trade that makes Dubai a hub.
Why is Jebel Ali the main port for Jetour T2 imports?
Jebel Ali, operated by DP World, has frequent services from Chinese ports and a mature vehicle trade. Dealers use it both to sell in the UAE and to re-export to Africa, Central Asia and other Gulf markets.
How is a Jetour T2 FOB price built?
An FOB price covers the vehicle, domestic transport to the Chinese port, export clearance and loading on board. It does not include ocean freight, insurance or anything at the destination. Because the vehicle price depends on trim, colour and quantity, exporters quote per order rather than publish a list price.
What does CIF Jebel Ali add?
CIF adds ocean freight and marine insurance to Jebel Ali. Destination charges, import duty and registration remain with the buyer. Compare CIF quotes on the same basis: same trim, same quantity, same shipping method.
| Ro-Ro | 40HQ container | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Larger batches | Small or mixed orders |
| Loading | Driven on board | Lashed inside, often two-tier |
| Protection | Open vehicle deck | Sealed container |
| Flexibility | Depends on car-carrier schedule | Frequent container sailings |
Which Jetour T2 trims sell best in the UAE?
New 2026 Jetour T2 2.0T XWD trims and the seven-seat T2 PLUS lead demand from UAE dealers. The 8-speed automatic in the Conquer and PLUS trims is popular for hot-climate highway driving.
What about conformity and registration?
Vehicles sold in the UAE must meet national conformity requirements administered by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology. Vehicles held for re-export follow the rules of their final market. Confirm the route with your importer of record before shipping.
